Medicinal Cannabis - now available.

We are pleased to be able to add a new range of solutions that may have advantages over existing medications or treatments for many patients.

The government has now approved the use of medicinal cannabis in a range of conditions, subject to certain criteria that your doctor will discuss with you.

Conditions Include:
Chronic Pain | Anxiety | Depression| Chronic Insomnia | Migraine | Neuropathic Pain | Multiple Sclerosis | PTSD | IBS | Cancer Pain | Palliative Care | Epilepsy | Chemotherapy-induced Nausea and Vomiting | Fibromyalgia | Spasticity from Neurological Conditions | Anorexia and Wasting Associated with Chronic Illness.

If you are suffering from any of the above conditions we would suggest discussing the options for trialling medicinal cannabis to see if it is right for you.

What to do next ...

Step 2

Please phone the clinic to make an appointment with Dr Rao and advise reception that you would like to have a Medicinal Cannabis Consultation.

Alternatively you can discuss this with your doctor at one of your regular visits and they will book another appointment.

Step 3

Your consultation can be carried out in person or via Telehealth if you prefer.

Your doctor will discuss your condition and the suitability or otherwise of medicinal Cannabis and answer any questions you may have.

Step 4

Your doctor will then apply to the Government for approval and once received will call you back in for a second appointment.

Your doctor will provide further information about the particular product prescribed.

In this appointment you will receive a script to be filled by Keperra Compounding Pharmacy.

This appointment has a cost to the patient of $85.05 ( $159 charge with a $73.95 Medicare rebate).
